Best way to avoid i35 San Antonio to Dallas

If you do decide to take the train (issues with that have been posted above and I agree with their concerns) you will arrive downtown Dallas within walking distance (or very short Uber ride) to Dealey Plaza, JFK Museum, Dallas Aquarium, mileage calculator Dallas Museum or Art, Perot Museum, Klyde Warren Park, or access to the TRE to take you to Ft. Worth to see the Stock Yards, etc.
