In terms of camera performance, the Motorola One Action churns out eye-pleasing shots in broad daylight. The dynamic range is excellent for a mid-range phone and images retain a good amount of details with accurate color reproduction. In our brief comparison with the Redmi Note 5 Pro running Gcam, the One Action’s shots repeatedly came close in terms of both the color reproduction and dynamic range capture — although the detail preservation was significantly better on the former. While the daylight performance is admirable, low-light performance is a different story. In low-light, images appear washed out and grainy with a high level of noise.
